add a new air filter without having to buy a cold air kit?
I have not to drop $ 200 on a full-cai, but I thought if there was a way to replace the hardware box just flat filter with a filter cone. just remove the filter housing must be good for something. please do not leave negative comments Tell us if you can do. Do not leave the box there for a reason. Simply adding a filter in the existing pipe only allow the filter to suck in hot air engine that is worse than being put. My advice would be to get a K & N or Fram Air hog replacing the filter. They are the flow of good quality filters that increase the mpg a little. Hope this helps
